Important Information & Store Policies

Important Notice:

Due dates are assigned at the time of drop-off. ALL orders will be ready after 4:00 PM on their due date.

Please understand that as a small business, we follow a set production schedule and cannot always accommodate specific completion requests outside of the provided due date. Immediate or next-day service is not guaranteed and will only be offered when our workflow allows.

Please Note:

Our system uses one name and one phone number per account. When dropping off items, please make sure your order is placed under the name and phone number you want associated with your account moving forward.

Soiled Garments Policy:

Heavily soiled, greasy, oily, or dirty items will automatically incur an upcharge due to the extra cleaning time and materials required.

Upcharges are based on the level of soil and condition of the garment.

Thank you for understanding — this helps us ensure every item receives proper care and quality results.

Pickup & Storage Policy:

Orders should be picked up within 14 days of the ready date.

A storage fee will be applied after 14 days

Items not picked up within 60 days may be considered abandoned and may be donated or otherwise disposed of.

Inspection Policy:

Please inspect your garments at pickup.

Any concerns must be reported before the garment is worn and within our policy guidelines so we can properly assist you.

Stain Removal Disclaimer:

While we make every effort to remove stains, some stains may be permanent due to the fabric type, age of the stain, or previous treatments.

We cannot guarantee 100% stain removal.

Fabric Condition Disclaimer:

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear, weak or deteriorated fabric, previous repairs, or manufacturing defects.

Some garments may become damaged during the cleaning process due to age, wear, or weakened fibers.

 

Decorative Items Disclaimer:

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for damage to beads, sequins, rhinestones, patches, glued decorations, or other ornamental items that may become loose or detached during the cleaning process.

Pocket Contents:

Please check all pockets before dropping off garments. City Cleaners is not responsible for money, jewelry, pens, papers, or other items left in pockets.

Shrinkage Disclaimer:

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for shrinkage caused by improper care labels, fabric defects, or normal fabric reaction to cleaning or pressing process.

Color Loss & Dye Stability:

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for color loss, fading, or dye bleeding caused by unstable dyes or manufacturer defects.

Manufacturer Defects:

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for issues caused by manufacturer defects, including glued seams, weak fabric, poor dye quality, or improper construction.

Pleats Policy:

Please note that City Cleaners, Inc. is not responsible for the preservation of factory pleats on any garment. Our professional recommendation is to avoid pressing or applying steam to pleated items, as this can permanently alter or remove the pleats.

Additionally, pleats may naturally relax or come out during the dry-cleaning process.

By leaving pleated garments with us, customers acknowledge and accept that City Cleaners, Inc. cannot guarantee pleats will remain intact.

Re-Cleaning Policy:

Garments are eligible for a re-cleaning if:

They have not been worn

Our original tag and ticket are still attached

They are returned within 3 days of pickup

Worn garments are not eligible for a redo under any circumstances.

 

City Cleaners Inc. is not responsible for:

Prior damage or stains

Color fading or dye bleeding

Buttons, snaps, or zippers

Items labeled dry clean only or hand wash only

Items left in pockets

Garments with a declared value over $20

Items left over 60 days

By leaving garments with City Cleaners Inc., the customer acknowledges and agrees to our posted policies and limitations of liability.
